This humble jam not quite a fruit jam, and its not quite a savory sauce... but if you give it a try, you wont regret it. With tomato jam, you need to think outside the typical "jam" box.
Mix with:
- Yes - Cream Cheese or Chèvre and spread over a bagel
- Yes - Mix with BBQ and sizzle meat over a grill
- Yes - Mix into chili, drizzle into a hot soup, use as dressing for salad, or potato salad, or cheese and crackers, mixed into bean dip and guacamole, mixed with sour cream; you can use on eggs, in pulled pork sandwiches, over steak and in the potatoes too.....the list goes on....
- Its not bad with peanut butter....but with just butter its pretty good.
- No - It doesnt really mix well with most ice-cream flavors.... but I keep trying different flavors anyways thinking it might work.
