Herbal Tea - Red Chai

Herbal Tea - Red Chai

Our red chai is a lovely aromatic blend of the wonderful spices and flavors you find in many chai recipes, but with a red rooibus base, so there is no caffeine. It is cinnamony and not too spicy, and just perfect with a touch of vanilla!

Signature Blend | Herbal, caffeine free, organic | ~10 servings per 2 oz package, loose leaf

How to Brew

Using a kettle or a microwavable measuring cup, heat 6-8 ounces water. For optimum flavor, heat water to nearly boiling. Shake bag to distribute ingredients that have settled. For one mug of tea, scoop 1 tsp to 1 TBSP of tea (depending on how strong you like the flavor). Choose your method of steeping.

Loose: Place the tea leaves in a cup that can handle heat and be easily poured from. Pour hot water over the tea leaves to fill the cup to the desired amount of tea.

Filter: Place the tea leaves in the filter then place the filter in the mug. Pour hot water over the tea leaves to cover the leaves in the filter and fill the mug.

Infuser: Place the infuser in a mug then place the tea leaves in the infuser. Pour hot water over the tea leaves to cover the leaves in the infuser and fill the mug.

Steep tea leaves for 2-15 minutes (depending on how strong you like the flavor). If using a filter or infuser, remove it. If steeping loose, pour over a small mesh strainer into a mug to remove the tea leaves. Add sweetener or cream, if desired, and enjoy!
